My work in fiber centers on botanical color extraction and natural dying utilizing plants grown or foraged for color. These dried pigments are used to make tempera, watercolors and inks for use in my work on paper.
Bringing my knowledge of fiber arts into classroom and workshop settings with students, educators and artists. I offer a range of classes in natural dying, pigment extraction, indigo, shibori and textiles.
